In this webinar, we delved into the Risk-Based Approach, and how starting with a preventive analysis of business risks, a strategy can be defined based on maximum coverage of these risks, focusing resources and available time on the activities of greatest interest to the business.
Software testing is essential to accelerate the delivery of innovative applications without incurring unacceptable business risks. It must provide rapid feedback to ensure that the new functionalities introduced in the release work correctly, that there are no disastrous malfunctions in production, and that the most used 'core' functionalities on which the business depends are not negatively impacted.
Even if the highest level of automation has been implemented, there is not enough time to 'test everything', but it is necessary to identify and implement a strategy that helps accelerate and prioritise testing to be compatible with the speed required by Agile and DevOps approaches.
